The American experience may not be what anyone predicted for 2020.
When the Museum closed earlier this year, we quickly realized how much of our mission truly lies beyond the brick and mortar of Old City Hall. From digital art hunts, activity packets and live-streamed story hours, we reached 3,600 students and their families online in just three months through our Museum From Home portal. We have created and distributed over 2,000 Art On The Go kits to local youth so far this year. And now that The Rockwell is open, our team continues to work hard and adapt to balance a welcoming in-person experience while continuing meaningful at-home engagement.
Whether visiting us in person or engaging with us from the comfort of your own home, we are committed to continually evolving and innovating so you can ROCKWELL from wherever you are!
As a community Museum, our mission is to nurture learning, discussion, wonder, play and so much more—within our walls and beyond. We get creative. We have fun. We host tough conversations. We respond to the needs of our community. And, we are here to help you stay connected and experience the power of Art even through these challenging times.
With the support and involvement of community members like you, we can activate our mission and continue to positively impact the region and enrich lives. In uncertain times, together we can strengthen the fabric of our neighborhoods and the future of our community.
If you are in a position to do so, we ask with gratitude that you donate today.
